Tulare Hires New Child Support Services Director

The Tulare County Department of Child Support Services will soon welcome a new director. On Tuesday, the Board of Supervisors announced the hiring of Roger Dixon, an administrator for the District Attorney’s Family Support Division in Clark County, Nevada. He is scheduled to take over on January 5.

Dixon has worked for Clark County for the past eight years. He previously served as a program manager for Child Support Enforcement in the Arizona Department of Economic Security. As head of Tulare County’s Child Support Services, Dixon will manage 211 employees and a $17 million budget. His responsibilities will earn him a salary of $120,000 per year.

“I look forward to residing in Tulare County and serving the families in our community,” said Dixon.

Board Chairman Phil Cox lauded Dixon’s experience, which is comprised of more than 20 years in the child support services field.

“Mr. Dixon will be a great asset to the county and we look forward to having him lead Child Support Services for years to come,” Cox added.
