NorCal Dispensaries Offering Free Marijuana to Valley Fire Victims

Two companies have donated $20,000 worth of product to local patients.

Those looking to take advantage of this offer must hold a valid prescription and have a home address in the communities of Cobb, Kelseyville, Middletown or Hidden Valley Lake. The donated products are being distributed through selected dispensaries in San Francisco, Sonoma, and Lake Counties.

Individual patients may receive up to $200 in free product.

The two companies behind the donation, Care By Design and AbsoluteXtracts, issued a joint statement (no pun intended) saying the following, “This disaster happened in our own backyard. As a company that prides itself on putting patient needs first, we felt there was no better time to reach out and help our neighbors in their time of need.”

The Valley fire has burned over 75,000 acres in Lake and Amador Counties and is nearing full containment.
