County Health Rankings for 2018
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has released its annual health rankings for California’s counties. The study, carried out in conjunction with the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute, compared each of the state’s counties -- with the exception of Alpine -- against 30 different factors.
Marin County has regained its title as the healthiest county in the state after slipping to No. 2 behind San Mateo last year. Lake was ranked as the least healthy county for 2018.
