El Dorado County Voters Will Weigh in on Five Cannabis Measures This Fall

This November, we’ll see another cascade of cannabis-related measures on local ballots across California.

Take El Dorado County, for example. Voters there will be asked to weigh in on five -- five! -- cannabis regulation measures this fall. These include the push for a general tax on cultivation and sales; a measure that would allow commercial retail and grows for medicinal purposes; a measure that would allow commercial retail and grows for recreational purposes; one that would allow indoor operations for medicinal cannabis; and a measure allowing indoor operations for adult-use marijuana.

Commercial cannabis is currently prohibited in El Dorado County. The ban sunsets on December 12, 2019.
