SLO Supervisor Adam Hill Hospitalized

San Luis Obispo County Supervisor Adam Hill was rushed to the emergency room Wednesday. The incident was confirmed by County Administrative Officer Wade Horton, who declined to state a reason for the hospitalization.

The San Luis Obispo Tribune reports that first responders arrived at Hill's home Wednesday around 1:22 p.m. He was taken to Arroyo Grande Community Hospital.

Hill's wife has told the Tribune that “Adam is alive. He is in recovery and all of our thoughts, prayers, and hopes are with him."

Supervisor Hill has been at the center of a number of controversies in recent years. He has also been open about his struggles with depression. In 2018, he took time off from his Board of Supervisors duties to focus on his mental health.
