Stanislaus Supervisor Tom Berryhill Passes Away

Stanislaus County Supervisor Tom Berryhill has died. He was 67 years old.

Berryhill’s passing was announced during a committee meeting in the state Capitol Saturday and subsequently confirmed by Stanislaus Supervisor Terry Withrow.

Berryhill had represented the Fourth District since January 2019. He previously served as an assemblyman and state senator from 2006 to 2018.

Berryhill’s cause of death was not immediately clear. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2018.
