ACLU Calls Out 'Nightmarish' LA County Jail

The ACLU called on the LA County Supes to close its central men's jail -- saying the facility breeds mental illness. The ACLU has been following up on a series of suicides and other incidents, but have gotten only "glacial" progress from the County Sheriff's Dept, who they have a scheduled a meeting with this week to discuss a 50-page report on the jail.
