Grabbing a drink in LA? Make sure you have your vaccine card.

A limited vaccine mandate is already in effect for some businesses in Los Angeles County. As of last week, eligible patrons and employees of the following establishments must show proof they’ve received at least one vaccine and will need to be fully vaccinated by Nov. 4:

  • Indoor bars
  • Indoor breweries
  • Indoor wineries
  • Indoor distilleries
  • Indoor lounges
  • Indoor nightclubs
  • Outdoor “mega events” (over 10,000 attendees)

Restaurants are not required to check vaccination status but are encouraged to do so.

The City of Los Angeles passed a stricter vaccine mandate for indoor establishments last week. Starting November, people will have to show proof of vaccination to visit indoor restaurants, gyms, salons and other non-essential establishments in the city.
